Favorites 2004
Games (you can
find details on these where I order them from,
http://www.funagain.com/):
Settlers of Catan and the Seafarers of Catan expansion pack
Elfenland
Carcassonne
Books:
I just
finished re-reading the book "Dragon" by Stephen Brust (after
buying "Issola" I actually went through the entire series again,
except for "Teckla" which I hated and "Pheonix" which I
don't have). Dragon is the best
of the series, which is saying alot... great set of books.
Computer
games:
Halo –
finally, a worthy competitor to “half life.”
Interesting story line (Halo is a Ringworld), smart AI, interesting
levels, lots of mission variety, a fair amount of humor and some fairly
nasty looking bad guys.
Tribes 2 -
still the best massive team-play game out there in my opinion.
Tomb Raider:
Angel of Darkness - on the Playstation II; not what I was hoping for but
still fun to play.
Serious Sam
II: Standard frenzied
Doom-style shooter with one of the coolest levels’ I’ve ever seen.
Movies/Television:
LOTR, the
entire series.
Tomb Raider on
DVD; I know, I know, not classic film making but I have to admit I loved
that movie. Didn’t really
like TRII, tho
Buffy the Vampire Slayer… no sneering, it’s really
quite good.
Curse of the Black Pearl
