I’m back! And you can probabyl guess from where. : ) Though I almost didn’t get there due to the stupidity of US Airways. After standing in line for 3 hours to check our baggage (the long lines you stand in before going through security and stuff) we found that we were missing our connecting flight to Freeport, and rather than book us on the next one while they could, they instead put us on a flight to Nassua. Ya, real smart people… -.- So we took a puddle jumper and got to the Bahamas only 4 hours later than we planned to.

Sunday it rained, and only my dad and brother were crazy enough to go swimming. (Though they stayed in the hot tub.) I hung around the room watching TV and such until the rain cleared and we went for a family shopping trip to the nearby village. We found some pretty fun stuff, though the power kept going on and off. We also stopped by the tennis courts to see what they had. (Two different types of hard court, one red clay, and one grass.) Will then began to chat with the guy in charge of the place, and continued to do so for HOURS. I of course had left after about 20 minutes of his chatter.

Monday it was finally warm enough to go swimming in the afternoon. I went to the Westin hot tub, ‘cause the Sheraton’s was really wack. Unfortuanatly, the Westin’s tub was more of a warm tub than hot one, and the seats were made of pebbels that poked my butt. >.every day. The day before, his friends had gotten him to take off his trunks in the hot tub and then run down the beach in all his speedo-ness. He returned after ordering a drink to find his friends had hidden his trunks. : D Well of course, I saw this as perfect prank material and suggested he take off his trunks at the top and send them down first. Sadly, it didn’t work as he went too fast and they too slow. But it was still funny. I had a spa appointment at 2, so I left rather early.
At the spa I got a back facial, which felt extremely good, except for the fact that I had already managed to get my shoulders sunburned. After the facial, I got a manicure and a much needed petticure. That petticure really tickled though… lol. After dinner at one of the many restaurants in the village, I ran into my New York friends. I asked my parents to wait for me and suggested to my friends that we meet at the Prop Club, where there was supposed to be dancing starting at 10. We got there to find that the DJ was there, but they refused to play any good dance music or turn on the dance lights. Annoyed, my friends and I left to hang around the Sheraton. We chatted and while looking at the Sheraton, discovered that some people didn’t realize their curtains weren’t shut. And the things they were doing require shut curtains. After repeated cat calls from us, one of the couples realized their error. Shortly after, my friends had to go ‘cause they had a 10:30 curfew.

The next day, they had a snorkling trip, so I only saw Janet and her brother in the morning. My family and I went on a smaller snorkling trip ourselves at 12:15. Smaller meaning we were the only ones on it. There were a lot of fish, but my goggles kept leaking and I kept forgetting to look straight down, which equaled a lot of sea water in my lungs, I finally gave up on that and took Will’s goggles. I didn’t get to stay underwater as long, but I still got to look at the fish. At three, the hotel DJ started playing dance music. He was the same one from 2 years ago, and he recognized me as “the dancing girl”. lol. Since I knew all the dances, he had me help him teach the other people. Tons of fun as always.

Thursday was my turn to go on a snorkling trip. We went to Paradise Cove, the same place as last time. Half way to the real reef, a jelly fish (not a stinging kind) brushed Will’s leg and he then saw a white shopping bag which he mistook for a giant jelly fish. It took him less than a minute to realize the object’s true identity, but by then he was too upset and dad had to bring him back to shore. I continued on out to the reef, even though the waves were so choppy they would get in my snorkel even if I swam correctly. Once there, we had the fortune of seeing a manta ray that was bigger than me. As cool as it was, it was kinda freaky and we kept our distance. We decided that the waves were too strong, and didn’t want to take the chance of getting bashed on rocks. So once my dad reached the resting raft, we went back to the reef with another man who had made it that far. (Only two people other than the four of us would get that far.) My parents decided the inner reef didn’t have enough fish, even though we did see a barracuda that was at least 10’’ long. I protested, but they insisted that we go back. So we went back to the outer reef, where I got to enjoy buckets of sea water going down my snorkel. I was busy admiring a really weird fish that was a dark purply-marron, with a lime green tail and occasion lime-green scales when I became very sea sick. Whether it was from the constant intake of sea water or the rocking back and forth of the waves, I don’t know. On the way back to the raft, I saw a strange brown fish that had the kind of jaw used for breaking bone. That freaked me out. My parents came to the raft to find that I had climbed on top and was coughing my lungs out. We all went to shore and decided we’d had enough. After lunch, my parents and I went along the beach finding numerous shells. Will went straight back to the hotel, deciding he’d had enough. At 2:30 we hopped on the bus with a bag and pockets full of shells and peices of coral that had washed up on the beach. I went to visit the New York kids, but they were just napping on the beach. BORING. So I left and found more interesting things to do.

Friday was a snorkel free day for me, though the rest of the family went on at least one snorkel trip each. I had drawn a drawing of me and the NY kids earlier in the week, chibi style. (Me and my boredum issues.) Though they’d been acting pretty weird Wed and Thurs, I decided I’d spent enough time on it I’d give it to them any ways. I wrote a bunch of random stuff on it where I hadn’t drawn (boredum again) and then ran it over to them Fri morning. Friday was also their last day. SUCKERS : P hehe, couldn’t resist. I went back to the Sheraton (they were at the Westin) as the DJ was there again. During one of the dances, I met Regina and her sister Annie. I thought Annie was the younger sister, and Regina the older one, but it turned out it was the other way around! Anyways, Regina and I both love to dance, dislike coconut water, and we became friends pretty fast. We met again at a reception for Starwood prefered guests, and then again at the Fish Fry they were having at the Prop Club. Instead of killer party like we were hoping for, we got food that made my dad so sick he had to stay in the room the rest of the night, and a lame bonfire we couldn’t even sit around. The bonfire was a bonfire for about 15 min before it died and became a boring little thing everyone ignored. Regina and I entertained ourselves dancing to the live band that had been hired and talking to a guy named Vincent we’d met earlier. Then the kareoke began, and that’s when the real party started.

Regina, her dad, my mom, and I all went up to sing “Who Let the Dogs Out” to realize all we knew was the chorus.

Hey peoples! How y’all doing?  It’s been pretty much forever since I last posted… lol.  But I don’t feel like typing a ton since I’m actually writing a paper right now, so I’m just gonna summerize the more interesting things.

To start off, I got mono. AGAIN. I don’t know how, but I got it.  I was misfortunate not only to get it twice, but to get it both times without kissing a guy.  So you losers who call it the kissing disease are way wrong.  Since I got mono, I wasn’t able to play tennis for a while, but I did do personal training sessions twice a week.  (Once I could stay awake for more than 18 hours that is.)

Once the mono went away, I could play tennis again.  And I didn’t suck as much as I should have ‘cause of the training sessions and the privates I took once a week. (Again, once I could actually manage to stay awake for them.)

Something else that happened (before the mono) was I took part in a haunted castle.  And I wasn’t one of the people who come to get so scared I piss in my pants (some people literally did) but one of the people who made them need that spare pair of pants.  To be specific, I was the zombie that showed them the path through the castle and made it so they couldn’t run away.  I also had the pleasure of creeping them out before the “tour”.
The last and most important update is that last Friday, I got asked out by my crush Jesse!  We went on our first date yesterday, and I can’t wait for more!

Today was kinda boring… Visited my Great – Grammy, which was nice. But that was pretty much the only thing I did all day… I trimmed 3 – 4 inches off my hair last night, but you can’t even tell. lol. Can’t wait until April when I get 2 go to Las Vegas! It’s gonna be fun!
